It was not easy for Dobryna. The dog was barely alive and bloodied at the store. A series of unfortunate events led him to exhaustion and almost brought him to certain death.

It all started as in a nightmare. One fine morning, the owner did not go with Dobrynya along the usual route for a walk. Already here the dog sensed something was amiss. Together, sitting in a car, they slowly set off to an unknown direction through the still sleeping city. Maybe the owner has an urgent matter and he urgently needs to arrive early in the morning at the appointed time at the appointed place? And Dobrynya will be a brave companion in this difficult matter.

Or maybe something happened in the family, one of the relatives died, and the owner hurries to help him! Perhaps the young dog had such reasoning. He did not find other reasons for such an adventure, but he was sure that something had happened, someone needed help. Dobrynya had no idea that he needed help.

The owner of the dog at some point decided to abandon the pet. No one can understand the reasons. Dobrynya - capable small. He teaches, listens to people, knows commands, has basic skills, is sociable, friendly and affectionate. But even these wonderful qualities did not stop the person. He tried to leave the bulldog in a local shelter, and having been refused, he decided to abandon the animal to its own devices in a wasteland in the industrial zone of the city, where there are no residential buildings, an unfinished construction site, a couple of utility buildings, and a person’s foot rarely sets foot.

Such conditions were ideal for a different life to start. Stray dogs became permanent residents of these slums and, finding a new stranger, famously taught him local rules. A flock of wild dogs brutally attacked Dobrynya. Frantic left no living space on the baby. He was found with a dozen lacerations deep wounds, severe bleeding, damage to the skin, tissues and even organs. Dobryna was destined to die in an unequal struggle, if one of the watchmen of local buildings had not responded to his cries for help. He hid the bulldog from the attacks of wild dogs and informed the volunteers.

Now nothing threatens life and health of Dobryna. He overcame a long way from one shelter to another, in order to finally at least get a little accustomed, come to his senses, forget this horror and betrayal that had happened to him. And after a doctor’s examination, treatment and rehabilitation, Dobrynya began to feel much better. He is glad of any help that indifferent people give him. But even more he will be glad of a new loving family, which he so lacks.
